I'm Chris Smith, founder of Man Cave Geek and the person who started this whole thing. I've spent 20+ years working in creative and digital, and I lead the design and digital direction of the site.

Man Cave Geek grew out of a genuine obsession. My own man cave home bar is stacked with Lego and more collectibles than I can honestly keep count of, so the advice here isn't theoretical. I've made the mistakes, bought the wrong things the first time round, and worked out what actually holds up.

That experience shapes how we do things. Every guide and recommendation is built to be honest and useful for real UK homes, not padded out to sell you the most expensive option.
